Pragmatic Play launched Free Bet Blackjack with qualifying doubles on totals of 9, 10 and 11 and free splits on pairs other than ten-value cards. The company also described free doubling after a split in certain circumstances.

In context

The trade-off is important: active hands push when the dealer reaches 22, except winning blackjack hands. The release lists Perfect Pairs and 21+3 side bets. These rules make the format distinct from conventional blackjack, so the name should not be read as an unconditional free wager.
